Joint STORM - SHOCK Meeting
A joint meeting of the FP7 projects
STORM and SHOCK is organised in Brussels between March 24 and 25, 2015. This initiative aims to identify common research interests and complementary expertise to advance our understanding of turbulence and intermittency.
The meeting will start on the afternoon of Tuesday 24 at 2pm and will close on Wednesday 25 at 6pm. The meeting is organised as a combination of oral presentations of the results of the STORM and SHOCK relevant workpackages and free discussions on potential ways of collaboration and cross-checking of the experimental, theoretical and numerical results.
The meeting will be held at the Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy, Avenue Circulaire 3, 1180 Brussels, Belgium. The institute is located in the South of Brussels, in the Uccle department, and is connected to the city center by bus (line 38, the bus stop is 5 minutes walking distance, line 60, the bus stop is in the front of the Institute) and tram (line 92, the tram stop is at 3 minutes walking distance).
